Max: Hello my Name Is Max. 25 and I am based in Switzerland but born and raised in Great Britain! Been in space since 2021 and founded Universe25 and Fudbuddies with a bunch of friends. I used to be one creative director by trade before dedicating my time fully to Web3.

What is Cardano for Pakistan? Who makes the art?

Zushan: Cardano for Pakistan is one completely voluntary charity event involving a number of different creators from Cardano NFT room for support the 33 million+ victims of the devastating floods ravaging Pakistan.

It has been minimal media coverage or attention on this frontbut 1/3 of the nation is submerged under water, and deaths take place on a daily basis. Everyone involved in Cardano for Pakistan is essentially working to support and help those affected.

There are several artists on board, including but not limited to V (ADA NinjaZ), Flavio (Universe 25), Lucky (Lucky Planet), Mac CC (Cardano Casino, Project 2090, Boss Dao) Masa (Cyberbots) Henry TG, Bang King, Pink Queen, Victor Warr, Joseph Miranda, SYIOK, Mosie, Kimosabe Art, Oil (SpaceBudz), The ADA Army, Cosmos (Pendulum) Sampoo, ExeDeb (Curse NFT) and more.

All of these incredible artists have taken time out of their very busy schedules create amazing works of art that will be characterized by the best donors as NFTs. Each artist creates 1 artwork, with 5 color variations.

Plus there’s Max from Universe 25 and myself (Zushan from ADA NinjaZ). project management of the campaignwith Aly injector from JPG store and Tara support us on the marketing front.

We have been quite fortunate to have had support and encouragement from as well NMKR & LE4F Agencywhich will give our mint solutionsand front end developmentrespectively.

There are a few other businesses in the area who are interested in supporting us and also donating, which we will announce soon

When will it be possible to send donations? And how does the donation process work?

We are going to donate all funds to Savepakistan.cryptoan initiative led by Tayaba organization in Pakistan, which acts as a crypto aggregatorand have hundreds of different organizations they are in touch with, on the ground, in Pakistan.

They are capable of that ensure that the money is used in the right way and delivered directly to those who need it most.

What is the situation in Pakistan? What are people going through and what can be done to help them?

Max: Currently, Pakistan is pay a huge price for our global climate change. The flood has caused a potential economic loss of $30 billionin addition to the economic loss that Pakistan has to recover from, we see over 6.4 million people are left with inadequate access to basic needs such as housing, food, water, medical care, etc..

Even when the flood has cleared, it may take years for Pakistan to fully recover from this disaster. We hope that beyond just donating, people understand that global warming has an impact on people. This is not about who is causing climate change or who is responsible for it, but rather accepting that we are part of a generation that must do what we can to combat climate change. Small changes often have the biggest effect.

What are the benefits of blockchain technology and NFTs for donations? What does the process look like and how can donors be sure that their money reaches the desired destination?

Max: Personally, I think that this is not really an advantage from a technical perspective, but rather from perspective on a strong community! The Crypto space is overall a narrow group of people who are all in the same boat wanting a brighter financial future for the next generation. Especially in Cardano, people stick together and support each other to achieve that goal.

Thanks to that thinking, projects like Cardano for Pakistan, can bring everyone together and work to help, regardless of technology, and which blockchain you support.
But, This technology allows us to provide contributors with full transparency about how funds are moved, transferred and potentially distributed.

This is the power that Crypto has and this is why initiatives like ours without essentially no complex infrastructure can set up a project like this and be held fully accountable by the community.

I wish you good luck! Any closing comments? Where can people learn more and donate?

Max: As simple as it may sound, a “THANK YOU” to everyone who has interacted with Cardano for Pakistan in any shape or form. Any donation will helpand even quite simply if you share the cause, you are part of the solution! <3
