Today’s most popular crypto was Santos FC Fan Token (SANTOS), which is a fan token from the Brazilian football club Los Santos.
Crypto market capitalization rose 0.05 percent to $919.26 billion, but trading volume fell 11.45 percent to $48.6 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 8:30 a.m.
Today’s top winners were TerraClassicUSD (USTC); it was up 33.12 percent to $0.05832. The biggest loser was ApeCoin (APE), which was trading at $4.65, down 7.68 percent in the last 24 hours to Wednesday morning.

Bitcoin: BTC rose 0.06 percent to $19,076.23.
BTC’s trading was highly volatile for most of October 12, with the price frequently touching red and green zones. However, BTC’s trading volume was slightly down in the last 24 hours to October 12.
Its lowest intraday trade price was $18,925.60, while volume was down 6.72 percent to $27,064,549,860.
Ethereum: Ethereum’s price rose 0.42 percent to $1,285.15 in the last 24 hours through Wednesday morning.
ETH was also volatile just like BTC. It mostly dealt with gains. ETH’s price has not moved significantly and has remained confined to a narrow range in recent days.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,272.74. ETH’s trading volume decreased by 13.75 percent to $8,298,569,174.
Other Altcoins: Solana’s (SOL) price fell 1.84 percent to $30.88 today.
Ripple (XRP) fell 1.63 percent to $0.4858 and 24-hour trading volume was up 17.91 percent to $2,081,555,758.
Cardano (ADA) fell 0.54 percent to $0.3926. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume fell 26.74 percent to $493,896,465.
Binance (BNB) was up 0.5 percent at $271.72. Its 24-hour trading volume was down 16.38 percent to $582,639,522.

Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 2.05 percent to $0.06002. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 21.97 percent to $241,766,151.
Shiba Inu was up 1.28 percent to $0.00001026.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 1.25 percent to $7,832.59. Its 24-hour trading volume was down 15.14 percent to $17,538,415.
Avalanche (AVAX) was up 0.14 percent at $15.92 and 24-hour trading volume was down 27.34 percent at $147,750,878.
Aave (AAVE) traded down 0.44 percent to $71.80, and 24-hour trading volume rose 3.58 percent to $82,923,353.
