Bored Ape NFT Holder Opens Physical Bored Yacht Club on French Riviera by DailyCoin
The owner of one of the Bored Ape NFTs has apparently decided it was time to fill the empty but spacious luxury yachts on the French Riviera with laughter and joy. With the ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club’ being the most successful NFT gathering ever, there would be a lot of people on a physical version of the yacht. Jad Comair, the owner of several businesses, including a yacht charter, has stepped in to captain the new crew aboard the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

The Early Bird gets the worm
The proud owner of ‘BAYC #634’ decided it was time to build a Bored Ape Yacht Club on the shores of the Mediterranean. John Blackeye, whose real name is Jad Comair, took his alias from the pirate-style digital monkey that he owns. The man acknowledges that he has a lot to thank crypto for: “Thanks to it, I was able to buy my first yacht”, says Comair, who revealed that he started investing in cryptocurrencies back in 2014.

Club members met by Lady Amanda
It should be noted that NFT enthusiasts will not be required to own a Bored Ape NFT to join the French Riviera Yacht Club. Instead, they can join the waiting list for ‘Bored Yachts Club’ NFTs, which will be handing out 8,200 NFT passes in three different tiers. The NFT airdrop is expected to take place by the end of the year.
Also, the real Bored Ape Yacht Club project serves a dual purpose. “It’s amazing how much emptiness you have in this business,” explains Mr. Comair, referring to the fact that not everyone can afford a luxury yacht. “The idea is to fill this gap – you have empty boats and people who don’t have access to these boats.”
On top of that, members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club will be able to choose a charity to which all funds from yacht bookings will go. Once ordered, ‘Lady Amanda’, the first 30m boat ready for action, will greet NFT holders. The ship is packed with water guns, gorgeous furniture, a sauna and a water slide. There is absolutely nothing to be bored about here.

On the other side
- The NFT market generated over $25 billion in 2021, but that figure has declined in 2022 so far.
- $55 million worth of Bored Ape NFTs were liquidated due to the BendDAO incident.
