Blockchain Brawlers launches Land Feature
The professional wrestling-themed NFT game led by Richard Garfield called Blockchain Brawlers has just launched the Land feature.
Wrestling-inspired NFT game Blockchain Brawlers today unveils the new Land feature for the game. This feature will allow users to “become an integral part of the ecosystem by acting as producers of important in-game assets,” say the developers. The game is being developed in collaboration with TCG godfather Richard Garfield, best known for his invention Magic: The Gathering.
Blockchain Brawlers’ new mode is an all-in-one game that will allow players to battle each other in exciting, interactive PvP battles.
“It’s one of the most forward-looking and independent features we’ve ever built for Blockchain Brawlers. We designed it very much as a standalone game in itself, as opposed to a supporting role, so this goes beyond much of what we’ve previously designed for game, “said WAX Studios Chief Game Officer Michael Rubinelli.” To help facilitate that, landowners will be able to produce assets and exchange or swap them with other players, and act as full-fledged content producers in Blockchain Brawlers. “
A total of 1,100 NFT plots will be put up for sale – priced between $ 2,500 (“Platinum Version”) and $ 5,000 (“Diamond Version”). At press time, all Diamond plots are already sold out. Platinum sales start on Wednesday 20 July at 07.00 PDT and will last for 24 hours or until it is sold out. Owning land will generate BRWL (Blockchain Brawlers ‘original token), which players can then use to create content packs with key items such as new cards for players’ decks, additional attacks, taunts, emotes, closing moves and more – which WAX Studios can compare to MTGs booster packs.
The items made will also come in different rarities – from “regular” to “legendary” – with a chance to produce ultra-rare foil versions of cards in the game. Diamond plots will produce more pieces – 25 NFT packs per day from a Diamond plot versus ten packs from a Platinum – thus stimulating ownership of these plots and stimulating the demand within the game’s economy.
