Blockchain-based RPG Tatsumeeko partners with Immutable X to focus more on traceable ownership
Tatsumeeko is known as one of the largest RPGs available on the blockchain, with playability extending to prominent crypto institutions such as Ethereum and Solana. According to reports, Tatsumeeko intends to expand its Web3 capabilities using the well-known Immutable X (IMX) blockchain platform.
Tatsumeeko aims to scale Web3 capacity
Based on a TechCrunch report, Tatsumeeko prefers to scale its capacity in some specific aspects of blockchain-based gaming. The goal of the collaboration is to improve Tatsumeeko’s gaming experience by emphasizing the traceable ownership and transfer of in-game assets. Tatsumeeko also hopes to expand its virtual land sales using Immutable, similar to mechanisms found on other Web3 platforms such as “The Sandbox Game”.
Immutable X is a highly regarded layer-2 Ethereum scaling solution in the market. IMX boasts on its official website that it is responsible for nearly 9,000 transactions that occur in the crypto chart every second. One of their main selling points is their ability to allow Web3 transactions for minting, transferring and trading cryptoassets without recurring gas fees.

To put IMX’s reach into the blockchain economy into context, they are the tier-2 developers behind the largest Web3 platforms on the web, hosting GameStop, OKX, TokenTrove and dozens more. This is why crypto investors use Immutable X to distribute their assets to various Web3 marketplaces.
One of the highlights of the collaboration between Tatsumeeko and Immutable X is the creation of a new virtual Tatsumeeko land sales mechanism called Aethereal Parcels, which will focus on the traceable ownership and transfer of in-game assets. This Web3 land base mod is set to go live on October 20th.
“With IMX as our technical partner for on-chain infrastructure and support, we can bring this process in-house to give our players true ownership of digital assets,” said Tatsumeeko CEO and Creative Director David Lim. “This enables trustless transactions and transfers of valuable digital items between players for low fees, while contributing to the game’s ecosystem.”
Tatsu.gg, the established blockchain MMORPG, started out as a market-leading Discord chatbot. Tatsumeeko now has advanced world building and gameplay similar to famous adventure fantasy gacha games like “Genshin Impact”. Playing Tatsumeeko exposes players to an infinite number of gameplay options and the ability to form communities with its ever-growing player base.
Tatsumeeko takes place in a fictional land called Ielia where players can fight monsters, create communities and interact with other players in a way reminiscent of adventure games of the same genre. With NFT projects merging directly into Tatsumeeko through Discord, it is also intended to serve as an introduction to crypto and NFT.
According to a report by Globe Newswire, Tatsumeeko also allows users to build a fully personalized experience with options to hide the game’s cryptocurrency layer, use credit cards for NFT purchases, and own, trade and sell their goods directly through the platform. By doing this, users can avoid the high-risk, “grey market” asset trading or peer-to-peer methods that dedicated MMORPG players commonly use.
