Bitget USD 10 million youth education project launches free blockchain course

Bitten, top crypto exchange and copy trading platform, announced its USD 10 million investment in accelerating Blockchain Literacy & Innovation for youth with Blockchain4Youth. The project aims to create a blockchain future by empowering and inspiring younger generations to use Web3 and crypto tools to create and engage in a decentralized space.

To support the youth and encourage their involvement in blockchain technology, Bitget adopts a 360-degree approach. An important step is to offer free blockchain course and certifications through Bitget Academyin addition to hosting campus lectures in collaboration with recognized educational institutions worldwide. Bitget noticed a lack of educational resources and content to gain systematic knowledge. Accurate and thorough understanding of blockchain and crypto will help improve interest in the industry, and help cultivate talent for the future development of the entire ecosystem.

Bitget Academy’s blockchain courses, which will be launched on 22 May 2023, are divided into three modules:

1. Introduction to Blockchain – Explains the basics of blockchain, how the technology is transforming industries, key features of blockchain and its value.
2. Inside a Blockchain Future – Covers various consensus mechanisms, layers of blockchain networks, blockchain bridges, interoperability, security and privacy.
3. Blockchain used – Focuses on blockchain applications including cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFTs, web3 and real world use cases.

Students who complete all subjects and pass the exam will receive one Blockchain4Youth Certificate published by Bitget Academy. Bitget aims to make blockchain education open and accessible to people of all backgrounds. Alongside the course launch, a series of campus lectures has begun at top universities across Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand, as part of the educational initiative. In the coming months, Bitget also plans to introduce scholarships to provide financial assistance to young blockchain enthusiasts. Bitget recently held his first lecture at National Taiwan University, covering the topic of “Investing with Knowledge and Understanding”.
