Most other altcoins were trading with losses, and the decentralized finance coins were trading with gains as of this morning. The most popular coin today was Stargate Finance (STG) and it was the biggest winner Chiliz (CHZ).
The global crypto market cap was up 0.01 percent at $1.02 trillion at 8:50 a.m. Global crypto volume increased by 18.87 percent to $70.65 billion, according to Coinmarketcap data.
Trading volume in the decentralized finance coin section is around $5.42 billion, or 7.67 percent of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market. The volume of all stablecoins is $63.82 billion, or about 90.34 percent of the total crypto market volume in the last 24 hours.
The day’s biggest gainer was Chiliz (CHZ), which was up 20.86 percent to $0.2234. The biggest loser was Celsius (CEL), which was down 18.82 percent to $1.73.

Bitcoin fell 0.83 percent to $21,352.16.
In terms of price analysis, BTC made its 24-hour low on August 22, sometime after 12.39, and it was not until after 14.14 that the price of BTC rose above the low point of the day and broke the $21,000 mark. Then around At 21:34, BTC reached its daily high of $21,486.78, but in subsequent trading sessions lost all the gains it made since the morning and at At 12:19 on August 23, BTC was back at $21,000 levels. The entire trading session of BTC resulted in significant volatility, but the price remained range bound.
The lowest price for BTC today was $20,939.18 and trading volume increased by 37.53 percent to $32,156,752,595.
Ethereum
The price of Ethereum this morning was $1,629.90, which is a gain of 1.32 percent in the last 24 hours.
Like BTC, ETH also traded at a loss throughout August 22, and right around 12:39 p.m. it hit its lowest level of the day. However, after around 14:59, ETH’s price started to recover and with each passing hour a new high was created, but still in the red territory. However, around 05:09 on August 23, ETH managed to push through the $1,600 mark and is now trading with gains.
The lowest price for ETH today was $1,535.01. ETH’s trading volume increased by 18.89 percent to $18,635,581,315.

Solana’s price fell by 2.42 percent to $35.49 today.
Cardano (ADA) fell 0.41 percent to $0.4603. The 24-hour trading volume for ADA increased by 17.85 percent to $724,342,574.
Binance (BNB) fell 0.78 percent to $298.26. Its 24-hour trading volume was down 11.93 percent to $1,455,157,044.

Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 0.28 percent to $0.06869. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 8.29 percent to $451,601,485.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) was down 1.4 percent to $0.00001323.
