The richest person on the planet, Bernard Arnault, has admitted to owning an NFT collection, despite previously expressing a “lukewarm” attitude towards the digital tokens. Therefore, beyond the French business magnate’s exclusive brands, superyacht and a private island, a collection of NFTs is safely tucked away in his thick wallet.

His sons’ interests in blockchain-based assets may have led him into Web3. Alexandre Arnault owns a bejeweled CryptoPunk Tiffany Pendant. While Frédéric Arnault – who is now Tag Heuer’s CEO – also demonstrated his passion for cutting-edge technology by unveiling an innovative feature that facilitates NFTs at the luxury watch brand.

Arnault Senior remains tight-lipped about his digital collectibles. However, Ian Rogers, a former employee and CEO of the Ledger, played beans about the billionaire’s collectibles on a recent podcast. Rogers confirmed that Arnault showed him a sneak peek at his OpenSea site.

With a net worth of over $200 billion, Arnault serves as both CEO and chairman of the luxury goods company (LVMH). Among the brands he owns are TiffanyLouis Vuitton and Tag Heuer.

Following the success of his fashion empire, Arnault has acquired a lavish superyacht called Symphony. This remarkable vessel is one of the world’s largest and most lavish superyachts, measuring more than 100 meters long and boasting state-of-the-art facilities such as a cinema, swimming pool, spa and even a helipad.
