Astro Boy’s Birthday marks the launch of a new NFT collection

Astro Boy is now traversing the blockchain. Pre-orders for the ATOM Genesis NFT Collection begin on April 7th in honor of Astro Boy’s 20th birthday. The collection’s developers, Animoca Brands Japan and Mad World, have revealed a number of benefits and features.

AKIBA, Animoca Brands Japan and MADworld have teamed up to introduce a NFT line based on the well-known manga title Astro Boy. With the support of AKIBA, 40 brilliant Japanese artists produced 150 unique NFTs for the ATOM Genesis NFT collection. Paying homage to the beloved and well-known Astro Boy brand, Tezuka has officially licensed these artworks.

What is the project’s goal?

Atom Genesis is a limited edition collection of 150 NFTs based on the well-known manga and anime series Mighty Atom. Over 40 artists from AKIBA EDEN have recreated Astro Boy, the star character of Mighty Atom, under license from Tezuka Productions. NFTs are recognized as official digital collectibles since Tezuka Productions endorses them.

In addition, the Association of Japanese Animations has established Open Post, a unique marketplace for Japanese animations that will formally certify on-chain versions of Astro Boy. In addition, the project will be gradually presented over the course of three months in stages, with generative art, immersive experiences and other things.

To distinguish Astro Boy imitation artwork from illegal fan creations and pirated copies, the ATOM Genesis project has received certification from OPEN POST. The Association of Japanese Animations has set up OPEN POST to officially certify chain certificates for authorized derivative works of art based on Astro Boy. The NFT collection gains value from the certification from OPEN POST since it identifies tokens as genuine and authorized.

What exactly is Astro Boy?
