Ankr launches RPC services for the Sui blockchain
Ankr has announced that it will provide an RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service for the Sui blockchain, which allows developers to create secure, scalable and upgradeable decentralized applications (dApps) on top of the Sui blockchain.
Users can send transactions to many networks and read blockchain data via an RPC node. Consequently, Ankr’s RPC connection to Sui will make it easy for Web3 developers and decentralized applications to communicate with the Sui blockchain.
Ankr’s product manager, Josh Neuroth, stated:
“Sui’s innovative technology and Move-based development, together with Ankr’s easy blockchain connectivity, will offer a build environment that is simple and intuitive enough to accept an increasing number of new developers and projects. We’re very excited to be working with Sui to help Web3 developers build faster on what seems like a great new ecosystem.”
This latest development comes on the back of the release of Ankr’s free blockchain explorer tool, Chainscanner.
Sui is a Layer-1 permissionless blockchain that enables developers to design Web3 experiences for many users. According to Mysten Labs, the developers of Sui, the blockchain can handle more than 120,000 transactions per second and uses a Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm along with the Move smart contract programming language.
With the RPC infrastructure provided by Ankr, developers can use Sui Testnet Community and Premium RPCs to submit request calls and get information identical to what they would get from running a full node independently.
When the Sui mainnet launches, Ankr intends to add support for it. To help Web3 developers streamline their builds, additional documentation, features, and tools will be made available.
The network provides reliable, high-performance RPC node infrastructure to handle any request, significantly increasing Sui’s public RPC resources. Ankr will also offer a geo-distributed, decentralized Sui RPC consisting of various independent blockchain nodes operating globally for minimal latency and reliable connections.
With the inclusion of Sui, Ankr now provides RPC infrastructure for more than 39 blockchains and testnets, including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Polygon. Remote Procedure Call allows different applications to connect to the blockchain.
As of 2022, Ankr is the top infrastructure provider for BSC, Fantom and Polygon chains, serving over 2 trillion transactions across the Web3 ecosystem.
In addition, Ankr offers a variety of developer tools, such as Web3 Gaming SDK, Liquid Staking SDK, and AppChains As a Service, to help dApp developers create Web3 apps quickly and easily.
