Alo Yoga debuts its first ready-to-wear collection with a limited edition NFT at New York Fashion Week

Alo Yoga, a leading fashion and lifestyle brand debuts its first ready-to-wear collection along with its first NFT on MoonPay’s HyperMint platform. The Aspen Collection NFT is a digital certificate of authenticity designed to celebrate Alo’s first foray into ready-to-wear and mark holders as a community with exclusive benefits. HyperMint, MoonPay’s self-service NFT coining platform, will manage the minting and distribution of the NFTs.

Alo launches its first RTW collection at New York Fashion Week with an experiential presentation that will reveal the latest Holiday 2022 capsule collection while immersing the audience physically and digitally in a refreshed brand world. The Aspen Collection is Alo’s celebration of adventure, inspired by outdoor life, winter sports, mountain climbing and après ski. The collection represents the athleisure brand’s first foray into winter performance apparel and luxury prêt-à-porter. At the exhibition, participants will see the collection for the first time. They will also be able to try on the luxury collection via Augmented Reality mirrors powered by Snap.

Alo realizes that NFTs are changing the way people interact with fashion by introducing a new level of connection between a brand or designer and the end consumer. Through Alo NFTs, consumers will have the ability to unlock new levels of loyalty, rewards, ownership, collection and authentication. When purchasing an item from the Aspen Collection, customers will receive a digital certificate of authenticity for that item, which also unlocks VIP experiences ranging from a personal shopping experience via a private customer manager, to future experiences at Alo Houses and exclusive access to Alo wellness clubs.

The collection consists of 17 signature styles, including performance-ready ski suits, ribbed cashmere sets, floor-length faux fur jackets and water-resistant outerwear and accessories. Prices range from $54.00 – $1425.00. Customers who purchase from this limited edition collection will receive an Alo-exclusive NFT, which provides a certificate of ownership. These NFTs are immutable certificates that confirm rarity, authenticity and ownership – leveraging the powerful innovation of blockchain technology. In addition to owning this unique NFT, customers will receive VIP experiences ranging from a personalized shopping experience via a private customer manager, to unlocking future experiences at Alo Houses and exclusive access to Alo Wellness Clubs.

Alo’s collaboration with MoonPay and HyperMint is the first of its kind. Alo Yoga is the first fashion and lifestyle brand to leverage HyperMint for easy NFT purchases via email check. The wellness brand and infrastructure company is also partnering with Digital Twin Studios to bring the NYFW experience to life.
