Advice from Vitalik Buterin for crypto investment
The mother of Vitalik Buterin, a co-founder of Ethereum, has provided guidance to anyone who wants to succeed in the cryptocurrency sector.
Buterin’s mother Natalia Ameline discussed the cryptocurrency sector and the best strategy for success in an interview with CoinDesk.

Ameline co-founded Crypto Chicks in July 2017 in an effort to empower women in Web3.
Ameline told CoinDesk that she wanted to be a “part of something amazing”, which she defined as “part of a DAO and investment collective trying to build the Ethereum ecosystem.”
Metis uses a groundbreaking technique called Optimistic roll-ups to produce a more efficient version of Ethereum, much like previous scaling solutions such as Arbitrum and Optimism.
Although they are all members of the same family tree, layer 2 sometimes surprisingly creates different ecosystems. Ameline has high hopes that Metis will become home to a wide range of non-fungible tokens, decentralized financial apps and other crypto tools.
When asked what it takes to succeed with crypto, she replied: “You have to have a lot of patience and perseverance. These are the qualities she notices in Vitalik that contribute to his success: She said he was prepared to “get around” and make an effort. “It was not easy”
And in October last year, she joined Metis, a company that creates an optimistic roll-out-based Ethereum layer 2 platform. As the head of Genesi DAC, a “decentralized autonomous company” that uses a $ 100 million fund to support initiatives that join the Metis ecosystem, she is employed there.

About Vitalik’s achievements
Of course I’m excited about him. He did a lot for someone his age, in my opinion. I think he also owes his success to perseverance, patience, staying in place and investing a lot of time in it. It was not easy. You really have to like what you do. And I think Vitalik enjoys his work very much. He spends countless hours on it since he is enthusiastic about it.
Advice for success
You have to have a lot of patience and perseverance, in my opinion. You need to be able to stay with your investment strategy if you went into the crypto area. I observe common mistakes individuals make: they want to invest, and when the market turns against them, they will often withdraw their money at a loss. And because they were burned, they no longer want to come back. It’s hurtful.
I believe that in order to achieve something in life, you must first learn about it. In addition, you must continue despite your difficulties. Therefore, you require a lot of patience. A bear market is there right now, but we just want to keep working, you have to be able to establish. We will continue to work hard and we will succeed.
