Cultural Arts DAO Fest is launched in Dubai this spring
Arts DAO, the Middle East’s largest NFT community, will host the region’s first Web3 festival, Arts DAO Fest, at the 25H Hotel at One Central DIFC on 11 March 2023. The main objective of Arts DAO Fest (ADF) is to celebrate NFT and internet culture, which was developed in the US by groups such as Crypto Punks and the Bored Ape Yacht Club. In addition, it will be a platform for leading companies to share their knowledge and perspectives on the future of blockchain, NFTs and decentralized payments, as well as a network for developers, business owners and investors to connect and work together on new projects. ADF will also give UAE Web3 community members a chance to gather and experience NFT culture in a way that has not been done before.
Anas Bhurtun, co-founder and CEO of Arts DAO, commented: “We believe that internet culture is reshaping every aspect of our personal lives, including the way we consume culture, acquire and own personal possessions, our experiences and even our identities. We have created Arts DAO Fest to empower all demographics and audiences, but especially to show Gen Z and Millennials how to build their businesses and brands in this new digital era.”
Along with the educational elements of the event, ADF will engage the audience with a wide range of NFT culture. A dynamic and rapidly evolving domain, NFT culture encompasses branding, communication, technologies, concepts and experiences. ADF will offer a diverse range of NFT community activities, such as digital fashion and art, avatars, live NFT activations, art installations, live NFT performance, Metaverse experiences and other activations. While there will be some leading speakers, the focus will be on live music, DJ sets, entertainment and delicious food and drink to enhance the virtual offering. There will also be a shared virtual environment with VR and AR experiences, as well as meta-cultural collectibles, a bespoke shoe fitting area and more.
“Internet culture is a fascinating and rapidly evolving field that has the potential to transform how we interact, communicate and experience the world around us,” said Danosch Zahedi, co-founder and CEO of Arts DAO. “Obviously, this is so unique to each individual that the possibilities for methods and media to interact with the public are enormous.”
The three core pillars of community, culture and creation are the focus of ADF. These principles reflect the decentralization and blending of the physical and digital worlds that the industry represents. The NFT communities are often a platform for users to create and share their own content, including avatars, virtual objects and worlds that create distinctive user-generated content in addition to social and economic opportunities. Many NFT projects involve metaverses that are built on decentralized platforms such as blockchain, which provide greater autonomy, security and ownership for users. As a result of ADF, there will be more opportunities for social interaction and communication, while awareness of new economic models such as digital asset ownership and online marketplaces will increase. Such evolutions will contribute to experiences and interactions that blur the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds.
Arts DAO Fest will take place on 11 March 2023, from 11:00am to 9:00pm at 25H Hotel, One Central DIFC. There is free entry. There will be a VIP after party at the Monkey Bar, a Berlin import rooftop bar located on the sixth floor with stunning sunset views, for the more experienced and those who want to immerse themselves in Web3.
