Let’s face it: the NFT space is moving very quickly. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFT might as well be a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong – the more people on board the space, the better. But with the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you as we put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look for this week.
Sunrise Art Club

Why: If you think you’ve missed another drop from one of NFT photography’s most notable figures, you’re in luck. Since the beginning of 2022, photo NFT icon Swopes has been curating the Sunrise Art Club – a daily NFT photo project that captures the beauty of the urban sunrise with embedded features per NFT drop. If you haven’t tuned in to this daily project, now would be a good time. The project ends on January 1st, 2022. Considering that each part of this planned 365-part collection drops every day, there are only 66 Sunrise Art club NFTs left to collect.

Why: Since his father’s untimely passing in 1981, Ziggy Marley has aimed to preserve the elder Marley’s wider musical and cultural legacy. After a decade-long career of his own, the reggae maestro hopes to further add to his own legacy with the release of Beach in Hawaii – the singer’s first foray into the NFT space. Highlighting this drop is the opportunity to bring home an autographed guitar from the reggae legend. With OneOf at the helm, Marley’s fans could potentially find a very compelling foothold in Web3 thanks to the green NFT platform’s emphasis on a consumer-first, frictionless experience. Proceeds from this upcoming sale will go to Marley’s chosen charity.

Why: Fandom-focused social media platform looks set to make a big splash in Web3 with the first edition of the upcoming GRAILS series, set to debut on the Binance NFT Marketplace. How? To celebrate Australia’s rich history in art over the past 20 years, digital/physical NFT art gallery Oshi has partnered with Nifty Gateway to give collectors worldwide the opportunity to purchase works from the best crypto artists it has to offer. Each NFT is also set to contain 100 limited editions to go along with it, which will be up for sale on Oshi’s official website.
