Stellar has announced new updates involving NFT’s rewards
- Stellar Quest Learn to reward those who complete Quest levels with XLM and NFTs tokens.
- The team introduces Pioneer Quest, and does away with mandatory wallet setup.
Stellar Lumen has added an additional level to its quest, which will enable learners to earn XLM and NFT tokens for completing each level. The blockchain-based payment network has unveiled Level 3, the most challenging level in Stellar Quest Learn. After the education platform launched in October 2022, the team has continuously adapted the platform to mitigate demand based on consumer feedback. As such, Stellar Quest Learn has become more engaging, user-friendly and educational. Every category of learner is accommodated on Stellar Quest – either a beginner or an expert.
Most students gain knowledge of basic operations and configuration operations at the account level. The new level that is added is an advanced phase of the learning process. Students will encounter bump sequences, sponsorships, repayments, claimable balances and liquidity pools. In particular, participants can go straight to level 3 of the Stellar Quest, rejecting the previous stages. However, there is a catch. They will lose earning NFT tokens for not completing previous levels.
XLM rewards for completing Stellar Quest levels
Students will also earn XLM rewards in addition to NFT tokens for completing a Stellar Quest level. Patrons of Stellar Quest are entitled to 100 XLM in rewards that can be shared at any level. While students who complete Level 1 will receive 20 XLM, 30 XLM are available for completing the second phase. More interestingly, the reward for completing level 3, the hardest, is 50 XLM. Stellar wrote in its blog post that there is a need to connect or create an Albedo wallet to receive the XLM rewards and NFT tokens. Albedo is Stella Quest’s official wallet.
Most of Stellar Quest’s responses are about the confusion of the onboarding process. A survey of the situation has pointed out that many users are new to the blockchain sphere. These users find it difficult to set up a crypto wallet and often quit before attempting a mission. As a solution, the team has introduced an introductory mission called Pioneer Quest. It will teach beginners what a wallet represents, how to set it up and its utility. Although Albedo was the case study, interested individuals can use the information for other crypto wallets.
Furthermore, the team has suspended the mandatory requirement to connect a wallet before attempting any mission. Learners can learn the variety of Stellar operations without earning XLM rewards or NFT tokens for completing a mission. It’s a huge boon for people who want to complete a mission or two purely for educational purposes.
The team will continuously release more side quests and features to the network in addition to the recently released level 3. Stellar Quest Learn will add some side quests that teach how to buffer transactions and create NFTs. The Stellar Quest Live event may also happen before the end of the year.
