Argentinian Exchange Ripio presents Crypto Educational Textbook and Web3 Metaverse Wallet – Bitcoin News

Ripio, an Argentina-based cryptocurrency exchange, announced the launch of two products, a cryptocurrency educational textbook to help newcomers navigate the cryptocurrency market, and a Web3 wallet that the company aims to position as a simple gateway to the meta-verse. While other Latam-based exchanges have laid off some employees to survive the current market, Ripio is expanding to Spain.

Ripio launches educational crypto book

Ripio, a Latam-based exchange, made some announcements regarding its product offerings earlier this week. The company presented two products aimed at improving the knowledge of crypto and the experience of users in the metaverse. First, Ripio launched a textbook on cryptocurrency, designed to help newcomers to the industry learn the basics of blockchain and crypto.

The book, which will be available for users to download for free, is part of the exchange philosophy of bringing crypto education to as many people as possible. Ignacio Carballo, an economist from Buenos Aires University, said that most people who used crypto in Latam started after the Covid-19 pandemic. At the launch event, he stated:

In this context, this book is very useful for giving consumers the tools to make responsible use of these digital assets.

Ripo explained that the book “develops basic topics for understanding and taking the first steps in this universe: Bitcoin, blockchain, mining, Ethereum, stablecoins and trading.”

A Web3 Metaverse wallet

The other product that was announced was a new Web3 wallet that aims to facilitate access to Ripio customers in the meta-verse. This is not the same as the Ripio wallet and will act as a multi-chain wallet in the same way as Metamask, allowing users to manage funds from different chains, manage NFTs and connect to various decentralized applications from a web navigator such as Google Chrome.

Sebastián Serrano, co-founder and CEO of Ripio, stated:

The goal of the product is to accelerate the entrance to a new stage in the crypto-economy, including popular digital collectibles or NFTs, games to make money, DeFi protocols, digital art markets and others.

The Ripio metaverse wallet will have a new storage system which, according to Serrano, has been in operation for more than a year and will be more efficient than comparable Web3 wallets with self-storage systems. The wallet is already available for beta testers in Argentina.

The company also revealed its expansion to Spain, after announcing that it would take its services to Colombia in April.
