SBC Summit Barcelona has a new zone to discuss new technologies, blockchain and metaverse

The upcoming SBC Summit Barcelona expected to bring together more than 6000 experts in sports betting and gambling. The iGaming event will take place on 20-22 Septemberwill introduce its participants to the new era of technology and the much debated concept of the metaverse in the dedicated Emerging technology, blockchain and metaverse zone.

The zone will host the first SBC First Pitch Barcelona powered by Yolo Investments. Six start-up industrial companies will present their product to investors, competing for one exclusive prize package worth over €50,000.

On the exhibition floor, delegates will get a first look at the latest technologies and innovations from industry start-ups, such as the six nominated companies for the First Pitch competition — Kero Gaming, OSAI, XRBET, Paradox, POW Gaming and Network Gaming — must exhibit in the relevant area.

Highlights from the zone include a keynote from metaverse trailblazer Matthew Ball, who will discuss what the metaverse is and when it might appear, and its relevance to industry.

The agenda also includes a speaker lineup that delivers hours of conference content focused on Web 3.0, NFTs, cryptocurrencies and the new technologies which will shape the future of the industry.

According to the organizers of the event “The panel discussions will prove valuable to C-level executives wants to modernize the company’s strategy, product and marketing experts, and the start-ups operating in the industry”.

The ‘Marketing in the Metaverse’ session focuses on the best ways to ensure your product gets noticed in the metaverse.

The panel consists of Ulrich Gilot (Media Manager, Betsson Group), Marcus Holmström (Co-founder and CEO, The Gang), Eddie Boyle (International Commercial Director, Azerion), Lewis Buck (Sports Partnerships Manager, Bidstack), and Fredrik Kinge (Managing Director and Partner, ECI Media Management).

The speakers will discuss how companies can exploit the opportunities of new technological advances and whether “getting there first” will give them an edge over the competition.
