‘Stranger Things’ Netflix NFTs Face Fan Backlash

The NFT platform Candy Digital has released another “Stranger Things” mini-game for Netflix, where players must solve puzzles to earn NFTs from the stars of the show. But some fans are not happy.

“Stranger Things” NFTs are 11,111 unique tokens on Candy Digitals Palm blockchain – a Ethereum create 2 side chains – which means ownership of one of five digital posters.

This week, a new round of the mini-game goes live since. Players must solve “I’m the master of hell”Puzzles to earn one of four free NFT posters by Mike Wheeler, Jonathan Byers, Will Byers or Argyle.

The response to the news was mixed. Some crypto enthusiasts and fans of the show said they enjoyed the mini-game.

Among those interested in earning NFTs, at least one “Stranger Things” fan reported that he was repeatedly logged out of his account while trying to complete the challenge.

But when “Stranger Things” Twitter account divided The NFT news last week was furious with other fans.

“Do you think we care about NFTs?” a fan wrotealong with a GIF of a man shooting a gun. Another “Stranger Things” fan wrote of NFT technology as a “grift”.
