What are VeeFriends Iconics NFTs?
In short, VeeFriends Iconics is a collection of rare, colorful NFT avatars. Each collectible features a different character from the VeeFriends Series 1 Spectacular collection. This time we can see the same iconic characters under Gilang Bogy’s signature NFT style.
Of course, the artist kept each character’s basic traits intact. Their backgrounds and artistic style result in a rare, valuable NFT surprise.
How can you get a VeeFriends Iconics NFT too?
Unfortunately, embossing was never available for VeeFriends Iconics NFTs. Instead, all VeeFriends Series 1 Character NFT holders received an equivalent VeeFriends Iconics NFT. Airdrop is based on a snapshot taken on April 15, 2022.
Furthermore, each holder’s wallet from the same snapshot can claim a unique 12×12 Metarelics Canvas. The asset has the corresponding VeeFriends Iconics character for collectors to display.
Nevertheless, the VeeFriends Iconics NFTs are available on secondary marketplaces, including OpenSea.
Are there other VeeFriends Spectaculars?
The term “Spectaculars” refers to the most valuable type of rarity of all VeeFriends collectibles. The founding team even considers these NFTs to be “the holy grail of any given VeeFriends character”!
For example, the VeeFriends Series 1 collection included 5 spectacular types:
- Hologram
- Diamond
- Gold
- Chewing gum
- Lava
Now collectors can enjoy these 1:1 digital assets in a whole new light – imagined by none other than Gilang Bogy.
Who is Gilang Bogy?
Gilang Bogy is one of the leading NFT and Web3 artists out there. In fact, the popular creator was even featured for CryptoStrikers, the first Ethereum sports NFT. His work for the project quickly became the rarest asset in the collection, entitled “Iconics”.
In other words, Gilang Bogy brought the native Indonesian art style WPAP (Wedha’s Pop Art Portrait) to the NFT market. From fractured portraits to a bright color palette, this style is now desired by popular NFT projects – including VeeFriends.
