In accordance Sir Anthony Hopkins on Twitter, as an artist, he was very happy that he discovered NFTs as a whole new canvas. The actor thanked Orange Comet for helping him immortalize his work in a collection called “The Eternal Collection”.

Sir Anthony Hopkins shared a link to the Orange Comet website, which shared how they were proud to announce their partnership with Sir Anthony Hopkins.

The website then went on to provide a more in-depth description of the works of Sir Anthony Hopkins when he became a painter back in 2005. It was noted that “his vibrant abstract paintings are continually evolving and are featured in distinguished collections worldwide.

The NFT Collection will immortalize the various archetypal interpretations of Sir Anthony Hopkins

When describing “The Eternal Collection” it was noted that it conceptualizes an interpretation of a number of character archetypes that have been portrayed by Sir Anthony Hopkins throughout his film career.

It was stated that through a variety of thought-provoking images and animations, the NFT Collection will help perpetuate the diverse archetypal interpretations of Sir Anthony Hopkins’ The Eternal: The Jester, The Lover, The Rebel, The Hero, et al.

Hopkins said he could be the oldest person in the NFT community

An article by Variety shared Hopkins’ thoughts on the metaverse, saying that it provides an “incredible opportunity to connect with an audience in a completely different way.” He noted that he is probably the oldest person in the NFT community and on social media to say this proves that anything is possible at any age.

According to an article by 9gag, the NFT collection is expected to launch at OpenSea in mid-September. A portion of the proceeds are said to be donated to a charity that was designed by Stella Arroyave, the wife of Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Images and animations in the NFT collection will reportedly be CGO generated

“The Eternal Collection” NFT project design was reportedly overseen by Dante Ferrarini, the creative director of Orange Comet and even Sir Anthony Hopkins himself. It was also stated that Orange Comet decided to use reference images of Hopkins to create the NFTs.

All the images and animations that will be included in the collection are reportedly CGI generated. A video trailer for The Eternal NFT collection was uploaded to YouTube, showcasing the rich works of Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Known as an acclaimed artist, the collection is an amalgamation of both the classic abstract art of Hopkins and the future of web3 and NFTs.
