Collaborators Michèle Lamy and Matt Lambert released an exclusive NFT featuring their performance art work, Infinite II. This NFT is available for a limited period of 72 hours, ending tomorrow, at entropyTV.xyz and was minted on the Zora platform.
The performance artwork, Infinite II, originally took place in Berlin, Germany on September 9, 2022. It was part of the Julia Stoscheck Collection and was in collaboration with the Reference Festival. With Lambert as director and Lamy in a leading role, the show delved deeply into the concept of infinity. It encapsulates it through a ritual exchange of energy.
“I have begun to realize that the magic of our collaboration is in chaos – creating a playground and letting the catharsis of the process take over,” says Michèle Lamy. We always get closer to finding our shared universe, but the best moments often come from when we make each other uncomfortable.”
The performance was accompanied by a soundtrack featuring artists such as Arca, Ryoji Ikeda and Lavascar. This further enhances the immersive experience with the poignant words from the poetry of Etel Adnan.
This digital rendition of Infinite II represents an evolution of Lambert and Lamy’s collaborative relationship, which began with Butt Muscle in 2017 and includes performances at notable venues such as Berghain and Venice.
Entropy, a studio that works with artists, innovators, strategists and technologists to bring their visions to life, minted NFT, which has a price of 0.02 ETH.
NFT for Infinite II not only offers ownership of a unique digital resource. It also provides access to a narrative imagined by Michèle Lamy and Matt Lambert that has evolved over time. Infinite I, shot in 2019 and released in March 2023, is a prequel to Infinite II.
This limited-time offer began at noon EST on Wednesday, May 24th. It provides a unique opportunity for both art enthusiasts and digital collectors to own a part of this ground-breaking collaboration.
