LOS ANGELES, CA, May 15, 2023 /24-7 Press release/ — Catheon Gaming CEO William Wu is proud to announce that it is integrating NFT-related blockchain capabilities into its Catheon Gaming Company (CGC) SDK.

This new SDK tool enables web2 games to quickly become a web3 blockchain powered game Web3 blockchain via a simple SDK. Using the SDK, game developers can add NFT Minting, In-game NFT Burning and In-game NFT Trading features to their games.

This innovation hosts the backend architecture and API endpoints for any game to quickly add in-game NFT management features such as coining, burning and trading. This simplified technical solution converts games from web2 to exploit the blockchain without the need for expensive software developers to be trained in blockchain smart contracts and expensive infrastructure.

This progress will benefit game developers and players now and in the future in new projects and across the partner base of 77 interested parties, developers and studios.

These new core SDK features have been implemented and are ready for use today by all interested projects.

NFT Minting

The embossing process is a breeze with the new SDK. In-game requests are sent to CGC’s backend infrastructure which automatically creates new NFTs within a designated custody contract.

All NFTs are connected to the backend and presented in a user-friendly dashboard available for debugging and reference.

The dashboard makes it easy to transfer from the user’s non-depot wallet to the deposit play contract. The system also supports the listing of NFTs to secondary marketplaces outside of the game.

NFT burning in game

This feature allows users to burn NFTs inside the game, which in turn starts with a simple API request. SDK checks whether the NFT is linked to the designated custody contract. Afterwards, the backend transfers the NFT to the correct burning contract on the blockchain.

NFT trading in game

This SDK feature makes it easy to exchange NFTs for in-game currency. Using SDK code commands, on-chain transfers can be easily performed. After that, the game can update the currency values ​​of players who had NFTs traded.
