Blockchain Firm Edge launches Confidential Crypto Mastercard – Privacy Bitcoin News

San Diego-based cryptocurrency firm Edge has announced the launch of a confidential crypto Mastercard that does not collect KYC data and does not charge transaction fees. Edge’s website notes that there is “no name or address associated with [the] Edge Mastercard “which gives privacy advocates security.

Edge Reveals Privacy-Centric Crypto Mastercard

The digital currency company Edge has announced the launch of Edge Mastercard, a loadable crypto debit card that does not collect KYC data. Edge revealed Mastercard on Twitter and told the company’s followers: “Zero fees. Instant financing – With Edge Mastercard, anyone can now use BTC, DOGE, DASH, LTC, [and] BCH immediately, with zero personal information required. “Blockspace.io founder Gabe Higgins provided Edge props for the new privacy-centric crypto Mastercard.

Edge’s short website explains that crypto Mastercard is not only private, but it also complies with current financial laws. “There is no name or address associated with Edge Mastercard, which provides completely private transactions when your card is used,” Edge’s website details. The website further states:

We protect your privacy while complying with all requirements for issuers, card associations, regulations, local, federal and international laws.

Although there is no usage fee associated with Edge Mastercard, the physical version of the card costs $ 20. The card is accepted wherever Mastercard is supported, and there is a maximum threshold of $ 1000 per day when it comes to debit limits. Edge co-founder Paul Puey explained on Wednesday that the leader is happy to offer a privacy-centric crypto Mastercard.

“Proud to announce Edge Mastercard with no personal information required to activate or use,” Puey wrote. “Use confidentially with any Mastercard-authorized US seller.” Edge, formally Airbitz Inc., was founded in 2014 by Paul Puey, Damian Cutillo, Scott Morgan, Tim Horton and William Swanson. In addition to the new confidential Mastercard, Edge recently introduced the Bitpay Payment Protocol, a protocol that ensures accurate payments in cryptocurrency.
