Ohanian, who recently attended the Met Gala with his tennis star wife, was seen showcasing the exciting collaboration between Gucci and the multi-billion dollar NFT company.

The acclaimed fashion show held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art featured a host of global icons, including American tennis legend Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian. During the Met Gala, the power couple dazzled in their Gucci outfits as the former tennis ace donned the figure-hugging black dress and elegantly matched it with pearl necklaces and white headbands.

The entrepreneur, on the other hand, was perfectly suited in his tuxedo designed by the Italian fashion powerhouse. To further highlight his sophisticated outfit, the Reddit co-founder attached a pendant designed in collaboration with Gucci and a $4 billion blockchain technology company, Yuga Labs.

According to a report by Decrypt, the Italian clothing brand previously announced its metaverse-oriented partnership with the NFT company while launching a range of themed jewelry including the KodaPendant. The pendant adorned by Ohanian is an NFT that represents both a tangible piece of jewelry and a non-functional token. By donning the Yuga Labs jewelry, the tech entrepreneur also showed his ardent support for crypto and NFTs.

Ohanian previously demonstrated another customized NFT for his wife

The American entrepreneur is undoubtedly one of the most avid crypto participants, as his social media posts show. In one of his earlier Instagram posts, Ohanian showed off a custom NFT artwork of his tennis star wife and daughter. Serena and Oympia were spotted in “superwoman” avatars designed by American comic artist Amanda Conner for the tech entrepreneur’s NFT collaboration.
