Popular cryptocurrency tracking company CoinMarketCap is diving into reality TV with the launch of a new competition show called ‘Killer Whales’.
In collaboration with Web3 entertainment company Hi LabsThe series takes cues from the popular show “Shark Tank” and aims to spread the entrepreneurial spirit of the Web3 world to a wider audience, the company said in a statement.
Spotlight on Web3 Ventures and NFT’s “Killer Whales” offers a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their innovative Web3 ventures, including non-fungible token (NFT) ideas, to a panel of experts.

The judges, consisting of entrepreneurs, influencers and Web3 company founders, will evaluate the projects and provide valuable feedback.
The show’s primary goal is to entertain and inform viewers about cryptocurrency and NFT topics.

CoinMarketCap’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan Isaacstated in a press release that “Killer Whales” is an engaging and exciting means of sharing the entrepreneurial spirit of the Web3 sector with people around the world.
Starting May 2, aspiring entrepreneurs can submit their project proposals via Hello.one and CoinMarketCap.
A thorough selection process will follow, consisting of several rounds of interviews in Hollywood, California. When the selected participants present their projects, viewers will witness the growth and innovation potential in the Web3 area.

“Killer Whales” production is scheduled to begin in June, with plans to release the series on leading streaming platforms and Hello Labs’ on-demand service, Hello TV.
The show aims to reach millions of viewers, demonstrate the transformative power of Web3 technology and promote widespread adoption.

By providing a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to influential judges and viewers, the program aims to inspire a new generation of blockchain trailblazers, ultimately paving the way for wider acceptance of Web3 technology.
