Angel City FC launches epic new NFT Drop

The new queens of the Los Angeles soccer circuit, Angel City FC, have announced follow-up NFT collection to commemorate their second season in the game. This new set of landmark ‘We Are LA’ tokens, in collaboration with club partner, Crypto.comwill feature world-class photography from artists in its collaborative residency program.

As part of the team’s community efforts, Crypto.com and ACFC launched an ongoing initiative to support local artists. This endeavor then allowed rising stars in the Los Angeles region to gain exposure in a professional paid photography position chronicling ACFC’s home games.

After the successful residency, ACFC and Crypto.com then selected three candidates from the program to designate their favorite images to distribute to fans in the form of NFTs. This marks the second drop from the rising stars of football, following a first season NFT collection that saw 20,000 redemptions from thousands of fans worldwide.

Now, as Angel City FC enjoys its second season in action, these incredible images will be etched immutably onto the blockchain forever. Essentially, fans are given an excellent opportunity to celebrate the team and acquire a digital keepsake that will never go out of style, through the all-new ‘We Are LA’ NFT collection.

The NFTs will consist of three distinct images by three of the best photographers from the residency and will be released during July, August and November this year. Each arrives in one of three levels of scarcity, Common, Rare and Ultra Rare.

After the drop, holders of the NFTs will have a chance to receive the kind of top quality tools that money can’t buy. This will include on-field experiences, signed jerseys, merchandise packs and more.
