Aavegotchi Unveils Powerful New ‘Gotchichain’

Aavegotchithe popular community-owned NFT gaming protocol, is preparing to launch its powerful new Gotchichain, a blockchain designed for all things Aavegotchi. The new chain will use Polygon Supernets, a technology that optimizes game performance with faster transaction times, lower gas fees and superior scalability. This move will benefit the Aavegotchi community and the entire blockchain gaming industry.

Polygon supernets are permitted offshoots of the Polygon POS network, where any user can perform transactions, but only certain developers can distribute contracts. Gotchichain will allow Aavegotchi-themed games and Dapps to flourish, taking advantage of the reduced fees and faster confirmation times. On Gotchichain, the eco-governance token of Aavegotchi, $GHST, will be used as the gas token for all transactions. While Aavegotchi assets will continue to be minted on Polygon POS, they can be easily connected to Gotchichain, guaranteeing a seamless gaming experience for users.

Scheduled for an early launch in the third quarter of 2023, Gotchichain will establish Aavegotchi as a pioneer among gaming protocols using Polygon’s Supernets technology. This groundbreaking partnership is expected to pave the way for further use of the technology in other gaming protocols, ultimately transforming the blockchain gaming industry in the months and years ahead.
